Best Long Island Iced Tea Cocktail Recipe

Another one of my favorite Summer Cocktails is my twist on a classic cocktail! With a simple substitution you get an entirely new, refreshing drink! Also, this has 2x the amount of alcohol than a standard restaurant cocktail, so consider this recipe a DOUBLE!

GINGER LONG ISLAND ICED TEA
1 oz White Rum
1 oz Silver Tequila (100% Blue Agave)
1 oz Vodka
1 oz Gin
0.5 oz Triple Sec
0.5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
0.5 oz Simple Syrup
4 oz Ginger Ale
Ice
Garnish: Lemon Wedge

In a Shaker, add in Ice, Rum, Tequila, Vodka, Gin, Triple Sec, Fresh Lemon Juice, and Simple Syrup. Shake until well blended. Strain and pour over Fresh Ice.

Top with Ginger Ale. Add a lemon wedge for garnish. You can also garnish with cherries as well.

Tip 1:
Using Ginger Ale instead of Coke gives it an entirely new taste. The cocktail becomes noticeably lighter and more refreshing.

Tip 2:
This is also a great drink to create as a batch cocktail for parties. Just remember NOT to prepare it ahead of time with Ginger Ale. Have your guests top off their drinks with it instead.

Tip 3:
This cocktail is so good, you may be prone to consume it at a faster pace than normal so be mindful. This is a strong cocktail and will sneak up on you and your guests. Please drink responsibly.
