Quick & Easy Summertime Sangria

Today I’m highlighting another one of my favorite #Summertime cocktails! Red Wine Sangria! Who doesn’t love a good sangria!

Sangrias can be as easy or as complicated as you want to make them. You can make a great sangria in 5 minutes for around $10. Here’s a quick and easy recipe.

SUMMERTIME RED WINE SANGRIA

1 Bottle of Red Wine (use your favorite brand). I used Merlot
1/3 cup Brandy
1/2 Apple (chopped)
1/2 Orange (cut into wedges)
3-4 tbsps of Sugar
Ice

Place everything into a pitcher and you’re ready to go. You can also chill this in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours or overnight. The longer you let it sit, the more flavor in your fruit!

Tip 1:
Add in 1 cup of Rum 151 for a little kick.

Tip 2:
Add in 2 cups Ginger Ale if you want a little fizz.

Tip 3:
Add any fruit that you like – even frozen fruit. Make it as easy as possible or add as many things as you like. It’s really hard to mess up Sangria.

Tip 4:
Have fun customizing it and bringing out your inner mixologists. My signature sangria has about 20 different ingredients!

What do you put in your sangria! It’s fun to experiment with different styles and wines over the summer!

Cheers!
